XHTML / HTML / CSS and Web Standards
CSS  Web standardization is a popular topic in the internet development community. Companies looking to build or re-factor a website should understand the benefits of web standards and the concept of data vs. presentation. Careless unmanaged HTML pages can look extremely different in the various browsers and can affect the end user experience. Developing web pages using specific XHTML standards, narrows the gap between the various browser rendering issues and creates a consistent look and feel. Formatting a website using CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) has many benefits over plain HTML including less bandwidth and page load times, the code is easier to maintain, and there is also a decrease in development time. CSS is flexible yet very structured. We recommend that your business do additional research to understand the benefits of web standards, XHTML, and CSS. At CWC we are a big proponent of the W3C recommended web development standards and do our best to insure cross browser compatibility.
.NET Framework 2.0
NET  The .NET Framework is a development and execution environment that allows different programming languages & libraries to work together seamlessly to create Windows, Web, or Mobile applications that are easier to build, manage, deploy, and integrate with other networked systems or as stand alone applications. The Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 extends the .NET Framework version 1.1 with new features, improvements to existing features, and enhancements to the documentation. .NET framework is the shell of the new Microsoft platform and decreases project development time substantially and increases productivity. The standard class library easily allows developers to incorporate complex functionality and reuse key core components.
Visual Studio
VS2005  Visual Studio 2005 is a highly focused development environment intended for individual developers to build client/server Windows applications and Web sites. With Visual Studio 2005 Standard Edition, you get an easy to use development environment for building Windows, Web, and consumer device applications. Visual Studio 2005 is the standard development environment for CWC.
ASP.NET 2.0
ASP.NET 2.0  ASP.NET is a technology for creating dynamic Web applications. It is part of the .NET Framework; you can author ASP.NET applications in most .NET compatible languages, including Visual Basic, C#, and J#. ASP.NET pages (Web Forms) are compiled, providing better performance than with scripting languages. Web Forms allow you to build powerful forms-based Web pages. When building these pages, you can use ASP.NET server controls to create common UI elements, and program them for common tasks. These controls allow you to rapidly build a Web Form out of reusable built-in or custom components, simplifying the code of a page. ASP.NET provides a programming model, and infrastructure, to make creating scalable, secure and stable applications faster, and easier than with previous Web technologies. For more details on ASP.NET
